Cloud Fixed: A Single Point of Light, Perfectly Still
Some spaces need lighting that draws no attention to itself, just a clean point of light doing its job with total precision. The Cloud Fixed spotlight is Orluna's answer to that brief: a compact, surface mounted fitting engineered down to its smallest detail so nothing distracts from the light it produces.
Choosing your configuration
This fitting is built to order around several configuration choices, so it is worth thinking through how it will be used before ordering. For the driver, pick Dali if the space is run from a lighting control system, 0 to 10V Dimming for architectural low voltage control, Mains Dimming to work with a standard wall dimmer, or Non-Dimming for a fixed output. Three LED engines are offered: Origin (General Use) for everyday applications, Origin Natural (Highest Quality) where colour accuracy matters most, such as art, retail display or interiors with natural materials, and Origin Warm Dim (1800K to 3000K), which shifts to a warmer, more amber tone as it dims, echoing the way halogen and incandescent lamps behave. Colour temperature can be set at 2700K, 3000K, or across the 1800K to 3000K warm dim range if you choose that engine. Beam angle runs from a narrow 30° spot through to a broad 56° flood, so narrower beams suit accent and highlight work while wider beams give a more even general wash. IP54 is the standard rating, with IP65 available for this fitting for use in bathrooms, wet zones or covered outdoor areas. Bezel and baffle are each available in Black or White (RAL 9010), so the fitting can match a dark or light ceiling.
How It Works
Cloud Fixed is a surface mounted spotlight rather than a recessed one, so it sits directly on the ceiling or track rather than inside a cut out. Orluna has stripped the housing back to a compact 60mm diameter cylinder, removing every superfluous line so the fitting reads as a single quiet point of light rather than a piece of hardware. Inside, a die cast aluminium body doubles as a heat sink, drawing heat away from the LED engine to protect colour consistency and long term light output. Because it is fixed rather than adjustable, the beam direction is set at installation, which keeps the mechanism simple and the profile as small as possible.
Where It Works Best
Fixed is the simplest fitting in the Cloud range, so reach for it wherever a reliable, straight down point of light is needed rather than an adjustable one: hallway runs, kitchen worktops, joinery and display shelving all suit it well. Because IP65 is available on this variant, something not offered across every fitting in the Cloud family, it is also a sound choice for bathrooms, wet rooms, spa areas or sheltered outdoor spots where the recessed and rose adjustable Cloud fittings are not rated to go. If the beam needs to be aimed or adjusted after fitting, look instead to Cloud Rose Adjustable or one of the recessed options in this range.
Made By Orluna
Orluna's story began in 1973, when a group of aeronautical engineers started applying LED technology to civil and military projects at a time when efficiency, longevity and mechanical reliability mattered far more than fashion, and long before LEDs found their way into architectural lighting at all. That engineering background still shows in fittings like Cloud Fixed, where a small aluminium body is designed to perform reliably over decades of use rather than simply look good on day one. Orluna remains British designed and manufactured, exporting that same precision to lighting projects around the world.

Questions People Ask
Is the Cloud Fixed spotlight adjustable?
No. Cloud Fixed is a fixed beam fitting, aimed straight down. If the beam needs redirecting after installation, Cloud Rose Adjustable or one of the recessed Cloud fittings would suit better.
Can Cloud Fixed be used in a bathroom?
With the IP65 option selected, yes, it is rated for use in bathrooms and other wet zones. IP54 is the standard rating for drier interior locations.
What colour temperatures are available?
2700K and 3000K are standard, and choosing the Origin Warm Dim engine gives a warm dimming range from 1800K up to 3000K.
