Nuura Sasi Large Wall Light - Silver

Sasi takes a quieter, more material led approach than Nuura's glass collections. The Large wall light pairs a substantial round frame in satin silver aluminium with a smaller, high polish silver disc at its centre, the contrast between matte and mirrored metal doing the work that glass usually does elsewhere in the Nuura range.

The outer frame has a soft, brushed satin finish, while the inner disc is polished to a near mirror shine, so the integrated light source reflects and scatters within the frame rather than shining directly outward.

How it works

Sasi Large uses an integrated LED module rated at 21W, built into the fixture rather than a replaceable bulb. It's a hardwired fitting with no cable kit included, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.

Where it works best

At 65cm tall, its scale and reflective centre make it a strong decorative statement on its own, well suited to a living room wall, above a console table, or as a pair either side of a fireplace, where it reads as much as a piece of wall art as a light source.

About Rick Tegelaar and Sasi

Sasi is designed in collaboration with Dutch designer Rick Tegelaar, whose work for Nuura explores the contrast between anodised and polished metal as a design idea in its own right, rather than relying on mouth blown glass.
