Rizzatto 32 stacks two mouth blown glass forms, a small clear, mottled orb resting above an oval of opal white glass, on a satin brass fitting, part of Paolo Rizzatto's sculptural take on pendant lighting for Nuura.
Satin brass and opal glass
The brass fitting has a warm, brushed satin finish, while the two stacked glass shapes below it, one clear and mottled, one opal white, are both mouth blown, so the exact texture and finish varies slightly from piece to piece.
How it works
Rizzatto 32 takes a single E14 lamp, up to 40W, not included. It's a hardwired fixture with an adjustable cable, up to 400cm long, and a ceiling plate is included, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. It's rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms only.
Where it works best
Its adjustable drop makes it a good fit above a dining table, kitchen island, or sofa side table, whether hung alone or in a small group at staggered heights for a more layered look.

Rizzatto 32 belongs to Nuura's collection with Italian architect and designer Paolo Rizzatto, co-founder of Luceplan, whose work sits in the permanent collections of MoMA and the V&A. The Rizzatto collection was nominated for the Danish Design Award in 2021.
