Miira Table Lamp brings the same hand blown glass globe used across the Miira collection down to a compact, freestanding size. A single glass globe sits on a slender metal base, giving it a soft, sculptural presence on a sideboard, console or bedside table.
Brass finish and optic clear glass
This version pairs a brass metal base with an optic clear glass globe. The optic texture in the glass catches and scatters the light, giving the globe a lively, faceted sparkle rather than a flat, even glow, while the brass finish adds a warm, soft reflection.
How it works
Miira Table Lamp takes a single G9 lamp (7W). It's plug in, with a cable up to 250cm long and an on/off switch built into the cable, so there's no need for an electrician, simply plug it in and switch it on.
Where it works best
Standing 34.5cm tall, Miira Table Lamp suits smaller surfaces where a pendant or wall light isn't practical, a bedside table, console, sideboard or reading corner. It's rated IP20, so it's intended for dry indoor spaces rather than bathrooms or outdoor areas.
About Nuura
Miira Table Lamp carries the collection's signature hand blown glass into a smaller, portable form, so the same warm glow can be moved wherever it's needed without any wiring. Nuura was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg.
Good to know
- Made to order by Nuura, so please allow time for production and delivery.
- Non-returnable once ordered unless it arrives faulty.
- Plug in fitting with an on/off switch on the cable, no electrician needed.
- Takes one G9 lamp (7W).
- IP20 rated, suitable for dry indoor locations only.
- The glass is mouth blown and hand finished, so each globe can vary slightly in texture and tone, and colour looks different on screen and in a lit room. If you are unsure about exact size or colour, please call customer service.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth only, avoid household cleaning products.
Questions People Ask
Is the Nuura Miira Table Lamp plug in? Yes. It is a plug in table lamp with a cable up to 250cm long and an on/off switch built into the cable, so it does not need hardwiring.
What bulb does it take, and is it included? It takes one G9 LED lamp of up to 7W. The lamp is not supplied.
Can it be dimmed? Yes, if you fit a dimmable LED lamp that is suitable for your dimmer circuit.
How big is it? The lamp stands 345mm tall, with a 140mm diameter globe and a 130mm diameter base. It weighs 1.4 kg.
Will the glass look the same as the photos? Not exactly. The globe is mouth blown with an optic texture, so each one varies slightly, and it looks different lit and unlit. Screens also show colour differently, so please call customer service if you are unsure.
Can I return it? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
