Sunlight Through Autumn Leaves, Reflected Softly
Blossi 1 is a small, rounded pendant from Nuura, its flat, mouth blown glass shade hiding an integrated LED that reflects light off a metal disc rather than shining it straight out. Nuura describes the design as inspired by sunlight filtering through autumn leaves, and the result is a soft, indirect glow rather than a bright, direct source.
Nordic Gold and clear glass
The metal disc inside is finished in Nordic Gold, paired with a clear, mouth blown glass shade. Light bounces off the golden disc and out through the clear glass, giving a warm, glowing character rather than a sharp, white light.
How it works
Blossi 1 uses a low voltage, integrated LED rated at 8W. It's a hardwired pendant, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in, and the cable can be adjusted up to 250cm, with the ceiling plate included. The system is flicker free and compatible with common dimming setups. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At just 15cm high and 23cm in diameter, Blossi 1 suits a bedside, a small dining table, or grouped together at different heights above a kitchen island, where its low profile keeps the light close and intimate rather than looming overhead.

Questions People Ask
Does the Nuura Blossi 1 need an electrician to fit it? Blossi 1 is a hardwired pendant, so it connects to the mains rather than a plug. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. The ceiling plate is included.
Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
Can I change the light source, and can it be dimmed? The LED is integrated, an 8W source giving 700 lumens at 2700K, so it is not a replaceable household bulb. It has an integrated dimmable driver and is flicker free.
How long is the cable, and how big is the shade? The cable adjusts up to 2500mm. The shade is 230mm in diameter and the fitting is 150mm high, with a 145mm diameter ceiling plate.
Will every glass shade look identical? Not exactly. The shade is mouth blown and hand finished, so small differences between pieces are normal. The disc is finished in Nordic Gold. Please call customer service if you are unsure about exact size or colour.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors? No. Blossi 1 is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. To clean it, use a soft, dry cloth and no detergents.
