Blossi 1 is a small, rounded pendant from Nuura, its flat, mouth blown glass shade hiding an integrated LED that reflects light off a metal disc rather than shining it straight out. Nuura describes the design as inspired by sunlight filtering through autumn leaves, and the result is a soft, indirect glow rather than a bright, direct source.
Nordic Gold and clear glass
The metal disc inside is finished in Nordic Gold, paired with a clear, mouth blown glass shade. Light bounces off the golden disc and out through the clear glass, giving a warm, glowing character rather than a sharp, white light.
How it works
Blossi 1 uses a low voltage, integrated LED rated at 8W. It's a hardwired pendant, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in, and the cable can be adjusted up to 250cm, with the ceiling plate included. The system is flicker free and compatible with common dimming setups. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At just 15cm high and 23cm in diameter, Blossi 1 suits a bedside, a small dining table, or grouped together at different heights above a kitchen island, where its low profile keeps the light close and intimate rather than looming overhead.
