A Modern Reinterpretation of the Traditional Chandelier
Apiales 9 is a fuller expression of Nuura's floral chandelier, nine slender metal arms unfolding from a central stem like flower stalks, each carrying its own mouth blown glass globe. It hangs on an adjustable cable, giving a modern reinterpretation of a traditional chandelier shape.
Brushed brass and opal glass
The nine arms are finished in brushed brass, each holding a globe in opal white glass. The mouth blown opal glass has a soft, even opacity, spreading a gentle, diffuse glow across the room rather than showing the bulbs as individual points of light.
How it works
Apiales 9 takes nine G9 lamps, each rated at 5W, for 45W in total. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. The cable can be adjusted up to 400cm, so the drop height can be set to suit the room, and the ceiling plate is 14.5cm across. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 59.5cm in diameter, Apiales 9 suits a dining room or living room where a chandelier is the natural focal point, or a stairwell with enough height to let the arms and glass be seen properly from below.

Does Apiales 9 need an electrician to install? Yes. It is a hardwired ceiling fitting, and we always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.
Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
Are the bulbs included, and can I dim it? The nine G9 LED lamps (5W maximum each) are not supplied, and the light source is not integrated, so the lamps can be replaced. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable LED lamps that suit your dimmer circuit.
How high does it hang, and how big is it? The fitting is 385mm high and 595mm in diameter, with a 145mm ceiling plate. The cable adjusts up to a maximum of 4000mm, so you can set the drop to suit your room.
Will the glass look the same as in the photos? The globes are mouth blown opal glass, so each one is slightly different, and the glass can look warmer when lit. Screens also render colour differently, and customer service can help if you are unsure.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors? No. Apiales 9 is rated IP20, which means dry indoor rooms only.
