Apiales 6 Ceiling is the flush mounted member of Nuura's Apiales family, six slender metal arms unfolding like flower stalks from a single canopy set close against the ceiling. Rather than hanging on a cable, the whole fixture sits compact and self contained, each arm ending in a small mouth blown glass globe.
Brushed brass and opal glass
The arms here are finished in brushed brass, carrying six globes in opal white glass. The mouth blown opal glass has a soft, even opacity, spreading a gentle, diffuse light rather than letting individual bulbs show through as points of glare.
How it works
Apiales 6 Ceiling takes six G9 lamps, each rated at 5W, for 30W in total. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. Unlike the standard hanging Apiales 6 chandelier, this version has no adjustable cable drop. It mounts flush to the ceiling on a 14.5cm canopy, standing just 29cm tall, which makes it a better fit for rooms with lower ceilings. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 50cm in diameter, Apiales 6 Ceiling works well in a hallway, a bedroom, or above a dining table in a room where ceiling height rules out a hanging chandelier. Its close to the ceiling profile also suits sloped or low ceilings where a dropped fitting wouldn't sit comfortably.

Questions People Ask
Who should install the Apiales 6 Ceiling? We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is a hardwired Class I fitting and cannot be plugged in.
Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
Are the bulbs included, and can it be dimmed? No, the six G9 LED lamps (5W maximum each) are not supplied. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable LED lamps suitable for your dimmer circuit.
How big is it, and will it suit a low ceiling? It is 500mm in diameter and 290mm tall, mounted flush on a 145mm canopy with no cable drop, so it suits lower ceilings.
Will the glass and brass look exactly like the photos? Not exactly. The globes are mouth blown opal glass and the brass is hand finished, so small differences between pieces are normal, and screens show colour differently. Call customer service if you are unsure.
Can I use it in a bathroom? It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only and not suitable for bathrooms.
