Mullan Seville Ceramic Table Lamp - Marbled with Finish Options

Marbled Ceramic: Timeless Quality With a Triple Bulb Glow

The Seville Table Lamp in Marbled finish is a 40cm tall, 28cm wide handmade ceramic table lamp with the timeless visual quality of hand painted marbled stone and a distinctive triple G9 bulb configuration that creates a warm, layered quality of light from within. At this scale the swirling tones of cream, warm grey and natural stone have genuine room to show their depth and complexity. The pattern is applied individually at Mullan Village before firing. No two pieces carry an identical marbling. The result is a table lamp of genuine decorative quality and a lamp that creates an atmosphere in the room that rewards every glance at it.

How It Works

Three G9 bulbs sit within the ceramic body, creating a warm ambient glow. All three bulbs should be the same type and wattage. A matched set of warm white dimmable G9 LEDs suits the marbled finish well.

Where It Works Best

The Marbled Seville Table Lamp suits sideboards, console tables, generous bedside tables and open plan living room surfaces where timeless decorative quality and genuine warmth are wanted. The marbled finish works across a very wide range of interior styles and pairs naturally with natural stone, warm timber, aged brass and soft neutral textiles.

The Story Behind Mullan

Mullan Lighting was founded in 2009 by architect Mike Treanor, who restored a derelict 19th century flax mill in Mullan Village, County Monaghan. Ceramicist Stephen Kieran developed the marbling technique by drawing on the layered stone and mineral textures of the Irish landscape. Over 100 craftspeople work at the studio and every piece is made to order using sustainable clay and recycled brass.

FAQs

Why does this lamp take three bulbs?
The Seville Table Lamp takes 3 x G9 5W bulbs, all within the ceramic body, creating a richer, more layered quality of warm light than a single bulb lamp.

Will my lamp look exactly like the photo?
The marbling is hand painted so the pattern on your piece will differ from the photos. The tones will be consistent but the character of the marbling is unique to every piece.

Can I use dimmable bulbs?
Yes. Compatible with dimmable G9 LED bulbs. Ensure your circuit supports dimming. Bulbs not included.

Is this suitable for a bathroom?
The Seville Table Lamp is IP20 rated and suitable for dry indoor areas only.

Can I return it?
No. Every Mullan light is made to order, so it cannot be returned unless it arrives faulty or damaged. If anything is wrong when it arrives, please contact us as soon as possible.
