Mitzi Cecily 2 Light Small Wall Sconce Light - Aged Brass

Small in size, sharp in detail

The Cecily's shade is a short run of fluted clear glass, cut diagonally at both ends rather than finished flat, so what could be a plain tube becomes something with a bit of angular character. The fluting catches and breaks the light along its length, giving a soft, faceted glow rather than one flat beam.

Aged Brass finish

In this Small size, the Aged Brass finish brings a warm, slightly antique gold tone to the frame, one that pairs naturally with wood tones, brass hardware elsewhere in a room, or a more traditional colour palette. It has enough age to it to feel established rather than brand new.

How it works

This is the Small Cecily, standing 17.25 inches tall on the same style of compact 4.75 inch round backplate, projecting 3.5 inches from the wall. It runs on two E26 bulbs, each up to 60 watts and sold separately, a lower wattage than the Large version to suit its more modest scale. It can be mounted vertically or turned horizontally, and it is ADA compliant.

Where it works best

Being smaller and lighter in scale, this size suits spaces where a full size sconce would feel oversized: either side of a hallway mirror, along a narrower corridor, on a landing with a lower ceiling, or as a pair flanking a bedhead. It is also an easy way to bring matching Cecily lighting into a room that already has the Large version elsewhere in the house.
