If minimalism with a touch of warmth is your preference, this finish lets the light do the talking rather than the metalwork.

How It Works

The same integrated 7W LED inside produces 426 lumens of 3000K light across a 180 degree spread, but without glass to diffuse it, the beam is directional and stronger. It's a Class II fitting using double insulation, so no earth cable is required. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor spaces where moisture won't reach the internal electronics.

Where It Works Best

Hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms all work, though the directional light means you might want to position this one more deliberately than the glass shaded versions. It's a good choice if you want to highlight something on the wall or if you prefer the visual simplicity of bare metalwork to decorative glass.

Is there a glass version of this frame?
The Milton range includes several versions with clear, smoked and amber rippled glass shades paired with different finishes, if you decide you want diffusion rather than direct light.

Will this provide enough light?
426 lumens is equivalent to a traditional 40W incandescent, so it's fine for ambient lighting. If you need task lighting or more intensity, a second fitting or a brighter overhead light would help.

How is this different from the other Milton versions?
The only difference is that this one has no glass shade, so the light is directed outward directly rather than diffused through rippled glass. Everything else electrically is identical.
