A Compact Halo for Everyday Rooms
Niseko II is Mantra's take on the ring ceiling light, a single circular band wrapped around a wide diffuser so the light spreads gently across the ceiling instead of beaming straight down. This 65cm version is the smaller of the two sizes in the range, built to the same idea but scaled for rooms where a 90cm fitting would simply be too much.
Choosing This Finish
Here the ring is finished in a wood effect, a warm brown tone with a visible grain that gives the light a more natural, tactile feel than a plain painted metal band. It pairs naturally with timber furniture, rattan and warmer neutral schemes. The same 65cm shape is also available in white, black and gold, so if your room runs cooler or more neutral, those alternatives are worth a look, and the 90cm size of this same wood finish is there if you later want to scale up.
How It Works
A single 50W integrated LED sits within the ring, delivering 3760 lumens across a 145 degree beam angle with a colour rendering index above 80. The colour temperature is tuneable, moving between 2700K and 5000K using the included remote control, so you can shift from a relaxed warm glow to a brighter white for tasks without changing bulbs. It is Class I electrically and designed for standard indoor ceiling mounting.
Where It Works Best
At 65cm across, this size suits bedrooms, hallways, home offices and dining areas where you want a soft, wide wash of light without the visual weight of the larger 90cm version. Because the whole ring illuminates rather than a single point, it works well as a main ceiling light in rooms without additional downlights, and the tuneable white means one fitting can cover both a calm evening setting and a brighter working light during the day.
Made By Mantra
Founded in Valencia in 2000, Mantra set out to make lighting with a genuine design pedigree that ordinary households could actually afford, and over more than two decades it has grown that idea into distribution across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The brand runs its own in house design team alongside named collaborators, including Jose Ignacio Ballester, who joined in 2007, and later designers behind collections such as ORA and Organica. Niseko II reflects that same approach on a smaller scale: a simple ring form given a warm wood effect finish and fitted with a tuneable LED engine, offering a considered, designer look without stepping into premium architectural pricing.

Questions People Ask
Does the light change colour, or just brightness?
It stays white light throughout, but the tone is tuneable from a warm 2700K to a cooler, brighter 5000K using the remote control, rather than changing colour like an RGB fitting.
Is a separate switch or dimmer needed?
No additional dimmer is required. Brightness and colour temperature are controlled through the remote control supplied with the light.
How does the 65cm size compare to the 90cm version?
The 65cm is the more compact of the two, better suited to bedrooms, hallways and smaller living spaces, while the 90cm version is intended for larger rooms where a wider spread of light is needed.
