A soft, wide wash of light along your path
Olympia is a contemporary solar post light shaped around a wide frosted diffuser, spreading a soft, anti glare wash of light outwards and down rather than a hard spot.
Choosing your finish
Olympia is finished in black with a choice of Warm White 3000K or Daylight White 6000K light. Warm White suits softer, traditional planting schemes, while Daylight White gives a cleaner, contemporary tone that reads well on paved driveways and gravel paths. You can also choose whether the light is fitted for its standard internal mounting base or specified with a Root Mount J Bolts Kit for setting into wet concrete.
How it works
Light comes from integrated Epistar LED chips behind a frosted polycarbonate diffuser shaped to spread illumination softly outwards and downwards rather than glaring upwards. A built in light sensor switches Olympia on automatically at dusk, running at full brightness before easing through a gentle five hour dimming sequence down to a 30% trickle to help the battery last through the night. The main body carries an IK10 impact rating, with the polycarbonate lens rated IK07 and the solar panel IK06.
Where it works best
The wide, soft spread suits driveways, patios and gravel paths where even, low glare lighting matters more than a tight spotlight, and its more contemporary diffuser shape sits well alongside modern paving and rendered walls, in contrast to the traditional filament look of the Edisol path light.

Questions people ask
Does it need mains wiring or an electrician?
No, Olympia is fully solar powered with an integrated battery, so it just needs a spot that gets reasonable daylight.
What is the difference between the standard fixing and the J Bolts option?
The standard version uses the internal mounting base to sit on a surface, while the J Bolts Kit option is designed to be set into wet concrete for a permanent, root mounted fixing.
How long will it stay lit each night?
Once fully charged, the battery is rated for up to 23 hours of light, and the gentle dimming sequence through the night is designed to help it last until dawn.
