A gentle glow for gateposts and low walls

The Olympia pedestal is the shorter, mounting base version of the taller 800mm Olympia post, scaled for gateposts, low garden walls and path edges rather than full height boundaries. A frosted, striped diffuser softens the light from the built in LEDs into a wide, anti glare wash rather than a single glaring point.

Choosing your light colour

The Olympia comes in warm white at 3000K or daylight white at 6000K. Warm white gives a cosy, amber toned glow that sits well alongside traditional brick, stone or timber, while daylight white gives a crisper, whiter light that suits more contemporary paving and rendered walls, or areas where you want the light to read as brighter after dark.

How it works

Light comes from built in Epistar LED chips rather than a replaceable bulb, powered by a 9V 5.5W monocrystalline solar panel with an expected lifespan of around 25 years, feeding a 6.4V 5AH LiFePO4 lithium battery that can be replaced when needed. At dusk the light comes on at full brightness, then steps down gradually over roughly 5 hours to 30% output, so it can run for up to 23 hours on a full charge without draining the battery too quickly.

Where it works best

Its lower profile suits gateposts, low retaining walls and border edges where an 800mm post would look out of scale. This particular version has a strong external mounting base built in, so it is a good choice for spots where extra stability is useful, such as more exposed positions or areas with general foot traffic nearby.
