How it works

The Director runs directly from the mains with a 5 metre cable and no separate driver to install. Its convex lens and integrated glare shield focus the output into a concentrated beam, and the serrated clamp joint allows the head to tilt through 180 degrees for precise aiming at a tree, shrub or ornament. To change the GU10 lamp, the main body twists anticlockwise away from the clamp joint rather than opening a separate access panel, and a little copper grease on the joint makes this easier over time.

The wall and gutter mount sets the Director apart from simpler spike only lights like the Astros, letting it uplight a building facade or fixed structure as easily as a garden border.
