The Richmond Medium Pendant takes a simple bell shaped cylinder and gives it a softly rounded crown, so the glass reads as one continuous sweep from ceiling rose to base rather than a hard edged tube. Hung alone it makes a neat single drop over a desk or console table. Hung in a row it becomes the kind of staggered, sculptural run you see over a long kitchen island, each shade catching the light a little differently as the eye moves along the line.

Choose Your Finish

This pendant ships in your choice of hand blown glass and plated metal finish, chosen when you order. These photos show it in Clear Glass on a dark bronze toned finish, but Leverint blows the same shade in Ribbed, Fine Ribbed, Transparent Black, Opaque White, Ribbed Twist and Fine Ribbed Twist glass too, and plates the fittings in Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Weathered Brass, Bronze, Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel, so you can match it to the rest of your scheme.

How It Works

The Richmond Medium Pendant takes a single 40W max E27 bulb, which is not supplied as standard, so you can choose the filament or LED lamp that suits the mood you want. Plated metalwork and fabric sleeved cable carry a 1 metre drop as standard from the ceiling rose down to the shade, with the hand blown glass shade itself measuring 140mm in diameter and 350mm in height. As with all Leverint pendants, we recommend having it installed by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

Its slim, single shade form makes it a natural fit for repeating in a row above a kitchen island or a long dining table, where a line of staggered drops adds rhythm without crowding the space. Used singly, it works just as well as a softer accent in a living room, bedroom or hallway, anywhere you want a pool of warm light rather than a wash of general lighting.

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by a glassblower rather than cast from a mould, so no two are ever quite identical. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons, and its founders bring decades of combined lighting design and glass artistry experience to every piece they make.
