The Pimlico V2 Pendant is a hand blown glass globe with a short cylindrical neck, held by a plated metal collar fixed with small pins. It is a generous shape that needs a little height to show it off: the glass shade measures 300mm wide and 380mm high, and the pendant weighs approximately 1.9kg. Leverint describes it as modern luxe statement lighting for kitchens, stairwells, living spaces and entrances, and the round glass lets the bulb inside show through.

Choose Your Finish

Each pendant is made to order in your choice of hand blown glass, plated metal finish and flex colour, chosen from the swatches and dropdowns above when you order. The photos show the globe in ribbed, clear, fine ribbed, transparent black and opaque white glass, with a brass toned collar and dark fabric flex. Leverint plates the metalwork in polished brass, brushed brass, weathered brass, bronze, polished nickel or satin nickel, and the fabric sleeved flex comes in charcoal, whisky, slate grey, linen, coffee or khaki. Because the glass is blown by hand and the metal is plated by hand, the colour and texture of your pendant may vary slightly from the photos, and screens show colour differently from one device to another. How It Works

The pendant takes one E27 bulb, up to 40W. It is not supplied with one as standard, but you can add Leverint's TL32 spiral LED bulb from the bulb dropdown above, or choose no bulb and fit your own. Leverint lists it as dimmable using mains dimming, so it will work with a compatible dimmer switch and a dimmable bulb. It hangs from a ceiling rose 65mm across and 37mm deep, on a standard 1 metre drop of fabric sleeved flex, and Leverint can supply a longer length if you enquire. As a hardwired ceiling fitting, we recommend that it is installed by a qualified electrician, ideally one who is NICEIC registered.

Where It Works Best

A single globe makes a clear focal point over a kitchen island, a dining table or a landing, where the glass has room to be seen from several sides. In a stairwell or an entrance hall the drop can be lengthened on request, so the shade sits at a comfortable height. The glass changes the feel of the light: clear glass shows off the bulb, ribbed and fine ribbed glass soften and stripe the glow, and opaque white gives an even, diffused light. Hung as a pair or a row over a long worktop, the round shapes repeat well.

Made By Leverint

Leverint is a hand blown glass lighting studio based in Enfield, London, where every shade is shaped by hand rather than cast from a mould. The studio says it draws on more than a century of glassblowing experience through its parent company, G Farley and Sons.
