A Modern Outdoor Wall Lantern With a Slim Cage Design
The Kichler Camillo Medium Wall Lantern is an outdoor wall light with a tall cylinder of clear seeded glass, held in a slim black cage of vertical bars. A single long tube bulb sits in the middle, and a flat bracket takes it back to the wall. It is clean, modern and a little industrial, which makes it a good fit for contemporary houses and for converted buildings.
Textured Black Finish
The metal is finished in textured black, with a fine grain that you can see up close. The surface stays matt and hides marks, and it contrasts well with the sparkling air bubbles in the glass. Black goes with most front doors, brick, render and black window frames, and it looks smart on both pale and dark walls.
How It Works
- One E27 lamp holder, suited to an LED bulb (bulb not supplied)
- Works with a dimmer if you choose a dimmable LED bulb
- Aluminium body with clear seeded glass
- Rated IP44, so it is protected against splashing water for sheltered outdoor use
- Class I electrical fitting, which needs an earth connection
- Some simple assembly may be needed, so that it arrives in good condition
A tube or filament style LED bulb looks best in this lantern, as it is clearly on show through the glass.
Where It Works Best
At 37.5cm tall, 15.2cm wide and 19.1cm from the wall, it suits front doors, back doors, garage doors and patio walls. Use a single lantern beside a door, or a pair either side of a wider entrance. The slim width also makes it suitable for narrow walls and tight passageways.
Made By Kichler

Questions People Ask
Can the Camillo lantern be dimmed?
Yes, with a dimmable E27 LED bulb and a compatible dimmer. A bulb is not supplied.
Is it safe to use in the rain?
It has an IP44 rating, which covers splashing water, and the aluminium body and 3 year anti corrosion guarantee help it cope with outdoor weather. Mounting it under an overhang is best where possible.
What bulb suits it?
An E27 LED, and the long tube or filament type shows off the glass best.
Will I need to put anything together?
It may need some simple assembly when it arrives. This keeps the glass and frame safe in the box.
