A Ribbed Glass Globe Pendant With Brass Bands
The Kichler Aster 3 Light Pendant is a large, round pendant made from two ribbed glass domes held together by a riveted brass band. Slim brass straps rise from the globe to a small dome, and a rod carries it to the ceiling. The fine vertical ribs bend the light from the bulbs inside, so the whole globe glows softly rather than glaring.
Natural Brass Finish
The finish is natural brass, a warm, mellow gold with a slightly aged look and no mirror shine. It is used on the rod, straps, dome, hanging band and tiny end cap, so the metal reads as one clear colour against the glass. It suits warm toned kitchens, painted cabinets and darker timber, and it will sit comfortably with other brass taps and handles.

Where It Works Best
This globe is large enough to be a feature over a dining table, at the foot of a staircase or in a double height hallway. In a kitchen, one pendant above a small island or a pair above a long one looks good. Because the glass is ribbed, you can use a decorative LED bulb without it looking too bare.

Kichler was started by Leonard Kichler in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1938 and has made lighting ever since. Today it is based in Solon, Ohio. The Aster is one of its more architectural pendants, taking its cue from old industrial and civic glass globes.
