Karman Corrado Bull Wall Lamp - Black Velvet

A bull's head wall light, lit at the horns

Corrado takes its cue from bullfighting, with Karman rendering a bull's head as a ceramic wall light complete with a metal nose ring and light sockets set right at the tips of the horns. It's one of the more theatrical pieces in the brand's Zoo collection, built to work as a talking point as much as a light fitting.

Black velvet ceramic

The black velvet finish gives this version a more glamorous, evening appropriate feel than the brand's white or grey Corrado options, with a soft, matte depth to the surface that reads as almost fabric like rather than hard ceramic. It's a strong choice for a room that already leans dark or dramatic, where it can sit as a single, confident statement rather than fighting for attention.

How it works

Two bulbs sit at the tips of the bull's horns, each on an E14 socket rated to a maximum of 46W, compatible with incandescent, halogen or LED sources. Bulbs aren't included. It's a wall mounted fitting wired directly to the mains.

Where it works best

It's suited to spaces with a bit of drama already built in: a moody dining room, a bar, a boutique hotel lobby, or a hallway painted in a deep colour. Give it a clear stretch of wall so the sculptural form and the lit horns can stand out properly.

Corrado is part of Karman's Zoo collection, the ceramic animal head wall lights that have become one of the Italian brand's signature ranges. Karman is based in Fossombrone, in the Marche region, and describes its production as Italian made from raw material through to finished piece.
