An industrial grade spotlight for demanding settings
The Hunza Wall Spot Ultra sits at the top of Hunza's Wall Spot range, built as a strong, industrial grade fitting for commercial work as well as larger gardens. Hunza positions it for wall washing or highlighting architectural features and structural elements, wherever a standard domestic spotlight would be under specified for the scale of the job. The visible hinged bracket and finned heat sink mark it out from the smaller domestic Wall Spot at a glance.
The powder coated finish
The body is powder coated aluminium, colour baked on rather than sprayed as wet paint, in Hunza's standard powder coated colours, with Black as the standard shade and other colours made to order. As with the rest of the powder coated range, colours are for indication only and can vary slightly batch to batch.
How It Works
Hunza specifies Cree CXA LED chips for the Ultra range, an integrated light source rather than a replaceable lamp, chosen by the brand for output and long service life. At the point of ordering you choose colour temperature (2700K, 3000K or 4000K), beam angle (22, 33 or 51 degrees) and lens (clear or frosted). It runs on mains with the driver built into the fitting, so there is no separate transformer or driver to install. It carries an IP66 rating, in line with the rest of Hunza's Wall Spot range.
Where It Works Best
Suited to commercial and larger scale applications: lighting building facades, highlighting structural or architectural features, or anywhere the standard domestic Wall Spot range would be under specified for the scale of the job.

Questions People Ask
How is the Ultra different from the standard Wall Spot?
The Ultra is a heavier, industrial grade fitting built for commercial and larger scale work, with a hinged stainless steel bracket, finned heat sink and integrated Cree CXA LED chip, rather than the smaller domestic Wall Spot's simple knuckle arm and replaceable lamp.
Can I change the beam angle after ordering?
No. Beam angle, along with colour temperature and lens, is set at the point of ordering and cannot be changed afterwards, which is why the fitting is non-returnable once ordered.
Does this need a transformer?
No. It runs on standard mains with the driver built into the fitting, so there is nothing extra to install beyond the mains connection.
Is this suitable for a domestic garden?
It can be, but it is built for a heavier duty than most domestic schemes need. For a typical garden feature, Hunza's standard Wall Spot is usually the better fit; the Ultra comes into its own on commercial or larger scale work.
