A Deck Mount Lawn Light in Marine Grade Stainless Steel
The Hunza Lawn Light Deck Mount is built to sit inside timber decking rather than turf, taking foot traffic without cracking or working loose. This version pairs a marine grade 316 stainless steel flange with a powder coated aluminium body below the deck. It runs on low voltage.
Marine Grade Stainless Steel Flange
The flange is 316 stainless steel, the grade used in marine and coastal fittings for its resistance to corrosion. It keeps a consistent silver finish rather than developing a patina, which suits contemporary decking or gardens near the coast. The body beneath it, recessed into the decking, is powder coated aluminium.
How It Works
The head angles the beam up to 20 degrees off vertical, so it can lean toward a tree, shrub or building wall. The lens sits level with the decking so water and dirt do not collect on the glass. The recessed body is 140mm in diameter and 86mm long, in a 140mm cut out, set into a 165mm flange, and it comes with 1m of cable.
What You Need to Run It
No lamp is supplied. A Hunza approved MR16 LED lamp is needed to keep the IP67 rating and warranty valid. Because it is low voltage, you also need a transformer bought separately, with the circuit wired in parallel. The same light comes as a GU10 mains version if you would rather skip the transformer.
Where It Works Best
Built for timber decking rather than lawn: coastal terraces, raised decks, and anywhere the salt air or foot traffic makes stainless steel the practical choice.
