An In Ground Light Built Around Public Safety
The Hunza Safe Touch 100 is an in ground luminaire designed with public safety as its first aim. It delivers high output, optically pure light while keeping lens temperatures cool, using little energy and needing minimal maintenance. This low voltage version is made in solid bronze.
Solid Bronze That Weathers Naturally
Solid bronze is a natural finish, designed by Hunza to weather and patinate. It starts bright and warm, then deepens to brown over time. Like all Hunza High Power fittings it also has an extra powder coat layer for maximum corrosion protection. These fittings are made to order and are non returnable unless faulty, and once ordered they cannot be cancelled.
How It Works
- Fully adjustable gimbal with 360 degree rotation and 0 to 20 degree elevation.
- Replaceable Cree LED chip giving 2700 lumens in total at 700mA, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
- Choose a colour temperature of 2700K, 3000K or 4000K, a beam angle of 13, 20, 25 or 34 degrees, and a clear or frosted lens.
- Canister 252mm long and 137mm across, with a flange 172mm in diameter and 18mm deep. The cut out is 137mm.
- Low voltage, wired in series at 37Vf, so it needs a remote driver.
- Non dimming as standard. Please enquire if you need 0 to 10 volt dimming.
- Rated IP68, though not for use in pools or ponds. Warranty is 10 years, with 5 years on the LED.

Our Lighting Design Service
We have worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them with NICEIC registered electricians. The project photographs on our Design Service page are our own completed lighting schemes, showing how we plan, draw up and install each layout. It is a good first stop if you are planning in ground lights for a garden or frontage.

- Made to order: usually ships within 2 to 3 days. If your specification is temporarily out of stock, allow 3 to 5 weeks.
- Non returnable unless faulty, and cannot be cancelled once ordered.
- Maximum drive over speed 10km/h (6 mph), with a maximum load rating of 2000kg (4400lb).
- The canister is supplied, and so is a length of cable.
- Needs a remote driver. Wired in series, so the circuit should be planned in advance.
- We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
