A Linear Projector That Paints Walls With a Clean Edge

The Hunza Blade is a rectangular projector, built to graze a textured surface or wash a whole wall with light. Because the fitting is linear, the beam it throws has a square edge rather than the scalloped shape you get from a round projector, which gives a tidy, architectural look on brick, stone and render. This is the mains version, so the driver is built in and there is no transformer to hide.

Powder Coated Aluminium in Seven Colours

The body is powder coated aluminium, with the colour baked on. You can choose from Black, Dark Grey, White, Birch, Bronze, Olive Green and Silver Star. The colours shown are indicative only, and swatches are available on request if you want to check one against your walls before ordering.

How It Works

• A Cree replaceable linear LED board produces 2300 lumens at 700mA from 26 watts, with a CRI of 90 or more at 3000K.
• Hunza and Luxr LED chips are available to order in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.
• Choose a 15, 30 or 60 degree beam, or an oval beam, and a clear or frosted lens.
• Built in glare reduction and an anti syphon design are part of the fitting.
• Body length 320mm, width 50mm and depth 110mm, on a base 338mm long and 104mm deep, supplied with cable.
• Mains powered with no separate driver required, and wired in parallel.
• Non dimming or 0 to 10V dimming versions are offered, so pick the one that suits your control.
• Rated IP68, though not for use in pools or ponds, with a 5 year warranty.

• Grazing the face of a stone or brick garden wall to bring out its texture
• Washing a rendered boundary wall or the side of a building with an even band of light
• Lighting a hedge backdrop or fence line where you want a crisp edge to the beam

How We Plan and Install Hunza Lighting

We have worked with Hunza since 2003. We design lighting schemes for gardens, supply Hunza fittings and install them using NICEIC registered electricians. • Matt Black and Matt Bronze can be returned within 14 days of delivery if unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging.
• Matt Olive Green, Matt White, Matt White Birch, Matt Dark Grey and Matt Silver Star are made to order and cannot be returned unless faulty or damaged.
• This is a mains fitting, so the electrics should be planned before installation.
• We recommend installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.

Do I need a driver or transformer for the Blade?
No. This is the mains version and needs no separate driver.

What shape is the light it throws?

Can it be dimmed?
Yes, if you choose the 0 to 10V dimming version when ordering. A non dimming version is also offered.

Can I use it in a pond or pool?
No. It is rated IP68 but is not intended for use in pools or ponds.
