An all gold finish gives Two a formal, dressed up look that suits a console table or a dinner setting where a bit of polish is wanted. For a similar warmth with added texture or colour, the linen shaded gold versions are the alternative.

How It Works

A G4 LED source rated 0.45W at 5V and 2600K sits inside the dome, with candle, ambiance and work modes covering everything from a flickering low glow to genuine task light. Charging takes 4 to 6 hours for up to 96 hours of use, varying by brightness, 12 to 17 hours on high, 22 to 30 on medium, and 70 to 95 hours on the lowest setting. Two is wet rated and measures 3.5 inches across and 8.3 inches tall.

Humble was founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by Jorren Teertstra and fellow Dutch industrial design engineers Gert, Tom, Lenny and Douwe, with the aim of a wireless alternative to candlelight. Two puts that same flicker free warmth into a shade built to light the table, here finished with a polish to match.

Does the gold finish scratch easily? The aluminium body is finished to withstand normal handling, though like any polished metal, sharp or abrasive contact should be avoided.

Is all gold too formal for everyday use? Not at all, it suits everyday dining as easily as a special occasion, the finish reads as polished rather than purely decorative.

Can this be used as a permanent outdoor fixture? It is wet rated for outdoor use, though as a portable rechargeable lamp it is best brought in overnight rather than left outside permanently.
