Choosing Gold and Frosted

Gold gives Air's slender aluminium form a warm, polished look, and the frosted shade spreads its light evenly rather than holding it close, giving a brighter overall glow. For a deeper, more contained atmosphere in the same gold body, the smoked shade is the alternative.

How It Works

Air runs at a warm 2500K with a three step dimmer, controlled from its base or a remote. It charges via the included USB-C cable or an optional charging station, giving 100 to 140 hours of light on the lowest setting and 20 to 28 hours on the highest. Built from aluminium and polycarbonate, it carries an IP65 rating suitable for both damp and dry conditions.

The frosted shade's wider, brighter spread suits a dining table that wants genuine ambient light rather than a single concentrated glow, and Air's IP65 rating means it can move between an indoor console and a covered outdoor table without concern. Its light, sculptural build also makes it easy to relocate as needed.

Made By Humble

Founded in Amsterdam in 2018 by Jorren Teertstra with fellow Dutch industrial design engineers Gert, Tom, Lenny and Douwe, Humble set out to build a wireless alternative to candlelight. Air is the newest expression of that ambition, taking the same cordless principle into their most minimalist design so far.
