Sitting flush against the ceiling, this flower shaped light was designed for rooms where a statement fixture is wanted but headroom is not. A frosted white glass shade, gathered like petals around a plated steel body with brass accents, spreads a soft, even glow across the whole room rather than a single pool of light below. Picture it low over a bedroom, its gentle diffusion taking the place of a harsh overhead bulb, or brightening a hallway or landing where a pendant would hang too low.

The finish

The shade is a soft, milky white glass with a frosted finish, so the light it casts is diffused and glare free rather than a hard beam. Where the glass meets the ceiling plate, slim brass coloured accents pick out the curve of each petal, giving the white glass a warm, understated edge rather than a cold, clinical look. It sits comfortably with warm neutrals, wood tones, and brass or gold hardware elsewhere in the room, and reads as soft and feminine without tipping into overtly decorative.

How it works

This is a hardwired 240v mains fixture that takes 3 G9 bulbs, with a maximum wattage of 28W across the fitting, and is dimmable if paired with a compatible dimmer switch and dimmable G9 bulbs. Bulbs are not included, so you will need to fit your own before it can be used. Because it wires directly into your ceiling's lighting circuit, it should be fitted by a qualified or registered electrician rather than installed as a plug in fixture.

Its low profile and wide, soft spread of light make it well suited to bedrooms, hallways, landings, and smaller living areas where a pendant would sit too close to head height or feel visually heavy.
