The Hinkley Reef Single Mini Wall Lantern in Victorian Bronze shares the same contemporary nautical shape as the Hematite version, with a sleek capsule of inside etched glass held by bold cast aluminium rings, just in a warmer, more traditional tone.
Finish and materials
Victorian Bronze gives the cast aluminium rings a warmer, more antiqued character than the Hematite alternative, suiting a slightly more traditional exterior.
How it works
A single lamp sits within the etched glass capsule. This fitting doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order. It's designed for wall mounting by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
This IP44 rated mini lantern suits a narrower porch, side passage or any smaller exterior space where a compact, nautical inspired light is wanted.
The story behind Hinkley
A hundred years on from Phil R. Hinkley's original outdoor lantern company, the business restructured again in 2019, simplifying its name to Hinkley and taking on Regency Ceiling Fans as part of its portfolio. Ranges like Reef, with its compact, nautical inspired shape, sit within that longer running outdoor lighting tradition. Elstead Lighting has brought Hinkley's designs to the UK since 2012, adapting fittings including this Victorian Bronze Reef lantern for 220 to 240V wiring and CE certification.
