How it works

This Nest single wall light takes one E27 LED bulb, which isn't included, so you'll need to add one when you order. It's dimmable, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It's rated Class I, which means it needs to be properly earthed.

The story behind Hinkley

Hinkley began in 1922 as a small outdoor lantern maker in Cleveland, Ohio, with a debut catalogue of just 14 products. The business passed to the Wiedemer family soon after, and by around 2000 a fourth generation, siblings Kristi, Jess and Eric, had begun taking on leadership roles. Collections like Nest, with its soft, nature inspired shapes, reflect that generation's take on the same original idea of thoughtful, well made residential lighting. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has manufactured and adapted Hinkley's designs for the UK and Europe, including converting fittings like this Silver Leaf wall light to 220 to 240V wiring with full CE certification.
