In Antique Nickel, this variant takes on a cooler, more silvery tone than the bronze finishes elsewhere in the Lanza range, so it works well against grey or white schemes. Three lights sit within a geometric steel frame, giving the fitting real presence without taking up floor to ceiling space.

The frame is steel, finished in antique nickel, with linen shades and acrylic lenses set into the geometric metalwork. The combination gives a softer glow than an open metal fitting would, while the nickel tone keeps things feeling current rather than heavy. How it works

This is a three light semi flush ceiling fitting, taking three E27 bulbs that are not included, so you will need to add your own. It is dimmable if you fit dimmable LED bulbs. The fitting is Class I, which means it needs to be properly earthed. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

Where it works best

Its low profile makes it a natural fit for bedrooms, hallways and landings with restricted ceiling height, though it works equally well in a living room or dining room where you want ceiling light without a pendant hanging down. The cooler antique nickel tone suits grey, white or cool toned schemes best.

The story behind Hinkley

Hinkley started out in 1922 as a small outdoor lantern maker in Cleveland, Ohio, founded by Phil R. Hinkley with a debut catalogue of just 14 products. The Wiedemer family took over not long after, first when Stanley Wiedemer bought half the business in the 1930s, then all of it after Phil died in 1937, and the company has stayed in Wiedemer hands ever since. A fitting like the Lanza semi flush belongs to a much later, more contemporary side of that story. Since 2019 the company has simply been known as Hinkley, having dropped Lighting from its name the same year it moved into ceiling fans. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has adapted Hinkley's designs, including this one, for UK wiring and CE certification.

Is this light dimmable? Yes, as long as you fit dimmable LED bulbs. Standard, non dimmable LEDs will not work properly with a dimmer switch.

Are bulbs included? No. The fitting takes 3 x E27 bulbs, which are not supplied, so you will need to add these to your order.
