This Hinkley Huntersfield 3 Light Large Chain Lantern is the biggest hanging design in the range, suspending three lights behind clear seeded glass for a strong, substantial presence over a porch or entrance. This is a large fitting: a drop that adjusts from 55.9cm to 210.5cm. Please check this measurement against your space before ordering.
Black aluminium and brass
It's built from aluminium and brass and finished in black, with clear seeded glass panels that soften the light and add texture. The dark finish works well against brick, render or timber, and pairs easily with black door furniture and house numbers.
How it works
It takes 3 x E14 bulbs, not supplied, so you'll need to add your own. It's dimmable if you use dimmable bulbs. The lantern hangs from a chain, and the drop adjusts between 55.9cm and 210.5cm so you can set it to suit your porch or entrance. This fitting is Class I, which means it needs an earth connection. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

The story behind Hinkley
Hinkley began in 1922, when Phil R. Hinkley set up a small outdoor lantern maker in Cleveland, Ohio, with a debut catalogue of just 14 products. Outdoor lighting has stayed at the heart of the business ever since, through Stanley Wiedemer's takeover in the 1930s and three further generations of his family who followed him. A lantern on this scale, with three lights and a chain that runs to over two metres, shows how far that original outdoor focus has grown. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has adapted Hinkley's designs for the UK, rewiring fittings like this one for 220 to 240V and giving them full CE certification.
