Hinkley Amelia Single Mini Pendant - Heritage Brass

The Hinkley Amelia Single Mini Pendant in Heritage Brass takes the same vintage detailing found across the collection, cast glass fitter, trim ring, hinges and clasps, and finishes it in a warmer brass tone for a softer, more traditional look.

The Heritage Brass finish

Heritage Brass has a muted, slightly antiqued warmth that suits period and traditional interiors particularly well. The prismatic bottom lens on the etched opal glass dome helps diffuse the light evenly, avoiding harsh glare from below.

How it works

This mini pendant is designed to hang from its own cable, giving a compact, single point of light rather than the wider spread of a flush fitting. This fitting doesn't come with a bulb, so you'll need to add one to your order, and wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its small scale makes it a good option for kitchen islands, breakfast bars or grouped in a row, as well as smaller hallways and landings where a full size pendant would be too large.

The story behind Hinkley

Stanley Wiedemer was a travelling salesman from Kansas City before he ever owned a share of Hinkley Lighting. He bought half the business from founder Phil R. Hinkley in the 1930s, then took full control after Phil's death in 1937, moving his own family to Cleveland to run the company from there. That willingness to commit fully to the business set the tone for three further generations of Wiedemer leadership. Since 2012, Elstead Lighting has carried that legacy into the UK market, adapting designs like this Heritage Brass pendant for 220 to 240V electrics with CE certification.
