Smoke glass gives this Grove wall light a moodier, more subdued glow, teamed here with a French gold frame for a bit of warmth against the darker shade. Like the rest of the range it runs on a single E27 lamp holder, so it's easy to source a bulb that suits the mood you're after, from soft and dim to brighter task lighting.
It's a good option either side of a bed, in a hallway that needs a bit of character, or on a living room wall as part of a wider lighting scheme. Mounting it on the wall rather than a table also means one less lamp cable and plug to work around.
