Glammfire Zarzuela - Burner I Bioethanol - Fire Pit

The Zarzuela is GlammFire's fire pit built to be the centre of a garden or terrace, combining a solid cement structure with the option of lacquered carbon steel benches built into the same footprint. This version is fitted with GlammFire's Burner I bioethanol burner, giving the same striking silhouette as the firewood version with the convenience of a clean burning, controllable flame.

A fire pit that doubles as furniture

The Zarzuela's wide ledge runs around the fire, wide enough to rest drinks, plates or a board game on, so the piece works as a low table when the fire is not lit as well as a gathering point when it is. The optional lacquered carbon steel benches sit around the same structure, turning the Zarzuela into a complete outdoor seating area built around a single fire pit.

How it works

Burner I is a manual bioethanol burner with a 2 litre capacity, an output of around 2.7 kW and an autonomy of roughly 6 hours per fill, built from brushed stainless steel. Bioethanol burns cleanly, producing only heat, water vapour and carbon dioxide, and needs no chimney, flue or gas connection, so the Zarzuela can be sited more freely than a wood burning fire pit, provided the space is open and well ventilated.

Where it works best

The Zarzuela suits gardens, terraces and outdoor entertaining spaces where a social seating area built around fire is wanted, from private gardens to hotel grounds and restaurant terraces, particularly where a controllable, low maintenance flame is preferred over tending a wood fire.

Handcrafted in Portugal

GlammFire designs and builds the Zarzuela by hand at its factory in Monção, Portugal, where the brand has manufactured luxury fireplaces since 2008. GlammFire states that every unit is tested and quality checked before it leaves the factory as part of a manufacturing process it says is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
