Glammfire Apollo IV - Crea7ionEVOplus - Rusted Corten Steel

The Apollo IV in rusted Corten steel takes the same sculptural, wall mounted silhouette and gives it a raw, weathered character, as if the fireplace had already lived a life outdoors before it reached your wall. Where the black version recedes into a minimalist scheme, the Corten version is meant to be noticed.

A finish that tells its own story

Corten steel develops a naturally oxidised, rust toned surface that deepens and shifts subtly over time, giving each Apollo IV a slightly individual patina. It pairs particularly well with industrial loft conversions, exposed brick and concrete interiors, reclaimed wood, and warm, earthy colour palettes, and it works as a striking contrast piece in an otherwise neutral, contemporary room.

How it works

Behind the finish sits the same engineering as the rest of the Apollo IV range: the Crea7ion EVOPlus 800 automatic bioethanol burner, operated by remote control, with a built in automatic filling system and a set of safety sensors managing the flame. Bioethanol combustion means there is no chimney, flue or gas connection to plan for, only a well ventilated room.

Handmade in Portugal

Each Apollo IV is handbuilt at GlammFire's factory in Monção, Portugal, where the brand has manufactured luxury fireplaces since 2008. The Corten finish is applied and controlled at the factory to achieve a consistent, intentional weathered look rather than uncontrolled rust. GlammFire states that every unit passes quality testing before it leaves the factory, as part of a manufacturing process it says is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
