The Apollo Manual Operation is GlammFire's hand operated take on its signature wall mounted fire, a clean, rectangular line of flame that turns a plain wall into a modern focal point, without the automated electronics of the EVOplus version. How it works

Unlike GlammFire's EVOplus range, the Apollo Manual Operation is lit and its flame adjusted by hand rather than through a remote controlled, automated burner. This keeps the mechanism simple, with fewer electronic components to service over the life of the fireplace. Because it burns clean burning liquid bioethanol, there is no chimney, flue or gas connection to install, only a properly ventilated room to plan for.

Handmade in Portugal

GlammFire builds the Apollo by hand at its factory in Monção, Portugal, where the brand has manufactured luxury fireplaces since 2008. GlammFire states that every unit is tested and quality checked before dispatch, as part of a manufacturing process it says is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Is the red Apollo lit manually or automatically?
This version uses GlammFire's Crea7ion Manual burner, so it is lit by hand and the flame is adjusted with the supplied control key rather than through a remote control.

Does the manual burner still burn clean bioethanol?
Yes, it uses the same liquid bioethanol as the EVOplus range, so there is no soot, ash, chimney or flue to plan for, only ventilation to the size GlammFire specifies.

How often does the tank need refilling?
With a 5 litre tank and up to 6 hours of autonomy per fill, refilling frequency depends on how long the flame is left running each time.
