This larger Gin is finished in a warm, slightly matte gold across both the column and the accent ring inside the shade, set against a black base and a smoked acrylic drum. It reads as a more traditional metallic gold than the rose gold option found on the smaller Gin lamp. If you already own the small Gin in gold, this larger lamp is designed to sit alongside it as a coordinated pair across two surfaces.

How It Works

Like the rest of the Gin range, this lamp takes a single GU10 bulb rated up to 12W, which is not supplied, giving you the choice of exact brightness and colour temperature. It is dimmable provided you fit a dimmable rated GU10 LED and pair it with a suitable dimmer, a plain switch and standard bulb combination will not dim it. The fitting is Class II, so it does not need an earth connection, and it carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is intended for dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms or covered outdoor spaces.
