The Hockley is a wide, sweeping cone pendant, hand spun from copper and built to make a strong single statement of light. Its bold, sculptural shape gives it real presence whether it hangs alone over a table or grouped with others.

The Tump Finish

This Hockley is finished in Tump, a pale, hillside green with a glossy, reflective sheen that catches the light as it moves around the room. A narrow band of natural copper is left showing on the inside lower edge, a small detail that hints at the metal underneath the paint and adds a warm glow once the light is switched on.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop.

The Hockley in Tump green comes from that same lighting range, its hand spun copper shade finished by hand in a colour chosen to sit comfortably in both period and contemporary rooms.
