From The Anvil White Gloss Hockley Pendant - Slate (Mid Grey)

The Hockley pendant is a bold, cone shaped light with a strong, sculptural silhouette. It makes a real statement hanging on its own, and it works just as well grouped together in a cluster.

The Slate Finish

This shade is hand spun from solid copper and finished in a smooth Slate grey on the outside, with a glossy white interior that reflects light back down into the room. A slim copper rim runs around the base of the shade, where the grey meets the white.

Where It Works Best

Its scale makes the Hockley a strong single fitting over a kitchen island, dining table or hallway console. Group two or three together and it also works well in a living room, where the cluster adds drama without crowding the space.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business went on to relocate to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting came later, made at the same Welsh workshop, and the Hockley's copper shade is spun there using that same hands on approach.
