Hand Spun in Elan Black With a Copper Rim

Each shade starts as a single sheet of solid copper, hand spun into its cone shape before being finished in Elan Black on the outside. A slim band of copper is left showing at the rim, where the black meets the white gloss interior, giving the edge a warm line of contrast that catches the light.

From The Anvil started in 1996, when former metalwork teacher Mark Underhill bought a small ironmongery supplier and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, then relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Lighting like the Hockley is hand spun and finished at that same Welsh workshop, using traditional forging methods alongside modern engineering.

Is the Hockley pendant in Elan Black dimmable?
Yes, as long as it's fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. A non dimmable bulb won't allow the light to be dimmed even with a compatible dimmer switch.
