The Harborne pendant keeps a classic, deep dome shape, hand spun from solid copper and finished in Upstream, a glossy, river toned blue. It hangs as one clean fitting rather than a cluster, with a bright sheen that catches the light instead of sitting flat.

The Upstream Finish

Upstream is a gloss paint finish applied over the solid copper shade, lined inside with bright white gloss and left with a slim band of bare copper showing at the rim. That exposed copper edge gives the deep blue exterior a warm contrast line, and the same copper carries through to the fitting neck at the top of the shade.

• Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
• 1.5m of black fabric cable provided as standard.
• Dome measures 400mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a 120mm diameter ceiling rose.
• Takes one LED bulb rated up to 6W with an E27 fitting, bulb not supplied.
• Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. This Harborne pendant's copper dome and its Upstream gloss finish are both shaped and applied by hand at that same workshop.
