A Softly Coloured Dome With Classic Lines
The Harborne pendant is one of From The Anvil's classic dome shaped ceiling lights, with a stepped neck that gives it a slightly industrial edge. This version is finished in Tump, a pale, hillside green with a glossy sheen, offering a softer, more muted alternative to the brand's metallic finishes.
The Tump Finish
Under the pale green gloss sits a shade that is hand spun and hot forged from solid copper, giving it real weight and a smooth, rounded profile. The rim of the shade is left in bare copper, creating a warm metallic edge around the green body, and the inside is finished in white gloss to spread light evenly once the bulb is lit.

- 1.5m of black fabric cable included as standard
- Takes an LED bulb only, 6W maximum, E27 fitting (bulb not supplied)
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb
- Shade measures 400mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a 120mm diameter ceiling rose
Where It Works Best
As a single pendant, the Harborne works well over a dining table, above a kitchen island, or as a clear drop of light in a hallway. Hung in twos or threes it also suits a longer table or run of worktop, and its pale, muted colour makes it an easy fit for living rooms too.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Harborne pendant is made using those same hot forging methods at the Welsh workshop.
