The Harborne pendant is a single hand spun dome, shaped from solid copper into a wide, rounded silhouette that gives it real presence over a table or island. In the Flock finish, that copper shape is coated in a soft, chalky matt white, with a slim band of natural copper left showing at the rim so the metal underneath is never fully hidden.

The Flock Finish

Flock is a matt white paint finish, applied by hand over the spun copper shade. It has a soft, powdery texture rather than a bright, shiny white, so the dome reads as a quiet neutral shape rather than a glossy statement piece. Left unpainted, the copper rim at the base of the shade catches the eye with a warm, contrasting edge and lets a little of the material's own colour through.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting joined the range later, made at the same Welsh workshop. This Harborne pendant's spun copper shade and its hand applied Flock finish are both a direct result of that same hot forging and finishing process.
