A Bold Dome With a Softer Side
The Harborne pendant brings real character to a room with its deep, rounded dome shape and a warm glow underneath. It is hand spun from a single sheet of solid copper, so every shade is shaped and finished by hand at From The Anvil's own workshop.
The Dingle Finish
This Harborne is finished in Dingle, a rich, deep green with a glossy sheen that shows real depth rather than flat colour. A slim band of natural copper is left exposed around the rim, and the inside of the shade is lined in glossy white enamel, which helps bounce light down and out into the room.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching Dingle green ceiling rose, 1.5m of black fabric cable, and all necessary fixings.
- Takes an LED bulb only, 6W maximum, E27 fitting. Bulb not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Shade measures 400mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a 120mm ceiling rose.
- Designed as a single light fitting, so it suits both a solo hang and grouping in a row.
Where It Works Best
Its scale and warm glow make it a natural fit for kitchens, especially hung low over an island or a run of worktop. It also works well over a dining table, in a living room, or lighting up a hallway with a bit more presence than a standard fitting.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products, and the business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, growing into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware. Steel is still hand forged and brass and copper still hot forged using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, and lighting like the Harborne is produced at the same Welsh workshop. The copper dome on this pendant is shaped using exactly that hand spinning process, so its individual character comes from how it is made rather than a flaw in it.

Yes. At 400mm in diameter, it has enough presence to work well as a single fitting or grouped in a row above an island or worktop.
What bulb does this pendant need?
It takes an LED bulb only, up to 6W, in an E27 fitting. The bulb is not included.
Can this light be dimmed?
Yes, as long as it is fitted with a dimmable LED bulb. A non dimmable bulb will not allow dimming, even on a dimmer switch.

No. Each Harborne pendant is handmade to order in Wales, so it is non returnable once the order has been placed.
