The Harborne pendant has a bold, rounded dome shape with a nod to old factory lighting. In this Birch finish it trades the raw metal look for a smooth, pale grey gloss, with a narrow band of natural copper left exposed at the rim for a warm contrast.
The Birch Finish
The dome is hand spun from solid copper, then coated in a smooth pale grey gloss paint. A strip of copper is left bare along the rim and just inside the shade, so it catches the light whenever the pendant is switched on. It is a softer, more contemporary take on the industrial dome shape, and it sits well against both painted cabinetry and exposed brick.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop. The Harborne pendant carries on that same hands on approach, with each dome still spun from solid copper before it takes on its pale grey Birch finish.
