The Brindley pendant is a dome shaped ceiling light with a clean, classic silhouette that suits both modern and traditional kitchens. This version is finished in a soft matt white with a narrow band of natural copper left exposed at the rim, giving the shade a quiet warmth against its pale gloss surface.
Each shade is hand spun from solid copper, then coated in a chalky Flock finish for a smooth, matt white gloss surface. The copper is left bare around the opening and just inside the shade, so a warm metallic edge shows through even when the white paint takes centre stage.
How It Works
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and 1.5m of black fabric cable.
- All necessary fixings are included for a straightforward installation.
- Takes one E27 LED bulb, 6W maximum. The bulb is not included.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm in height. The ceiling rose measures 120mm in diameter.

From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys, where it grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley pendant carries that same copper through its shade, spun and finished by hand at the same Welsh workshop.
