A Dome Pendant With Real Depth of Colour
The Brindley pendant is a classic dome shape, spun rather than pressed, so the curve stays smooth and even from the neck down to the rim. This one comes in Dingle, a rich, glossy green that changes character with the light hitting it, deep and matte looking from some angles, glossy and reflective from others.
The Dingle Finish
Dingle is a deep, glossy green applied over a solid copper shade. Around the rim, a narrow band of copper is left exposed, a small nod to the metal underneath the paint. Inside, the shade is finished in white gloss, which helps bounce the light down and out rather than absorbing it, so the glow reads clean and even rather than dim.
How It Works
- Takes a single 6W maximum LED E27 bulb, not supplied.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.
- Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all necessary fixings.
- Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard, so the drop height can be set on installation.
- Shade measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a 120mm diameter ceiling rose.
Where It Works Best
As a single dome it suits a dining table or a hallway on its own, or a run of two or three grouped above a kitchen island. The Dingle green gives it more presence than a plain metal finish, so it works well as a small focal point in a kitchen, living room or dining room.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil began in 1996, when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and started hand forging his own hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand itself launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business later moved to Llandrindod Wells in Powys and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley pendant's copper shade and hand applied Dingle finish carry that same workshop approach into a hanging light.

- What bulb does this pendant need? It takes a single E27 LED bulb rated at 6W maximum, which is not included, so you can pick the colour temperature you prefer.
- Can I dim this light? Yes, as long as you fit a dimmable LED bulb. The pendant itself has no dimmer switch built in.
- How long is the cable? It comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable and a matching ceiling rose, so the drop height can be set when it's installed.
