A Soft Grey Dome With a Warm Copper Glow
This single Brindley pendant brings a quiet, contemporary look to a ceiling. Its rounded dome shape gives a soft focal point rather than a heavy fixture, and the muted Bluff grey exterior is calm and understated. A narrow band of exposed copper at the rim catches the light every time the lamp is switched on.
Hand Finished in Bluff Grey
Each Brindley shade starts as a single sheet of solid copper, spun by hand into its dome shape before being painted in a flat, warm toned Bluff grey. The rim is left unpainted, so a ring of natural copper shows through at the edge of the shade. The inside is finished in glossy white enamel, which helps spread the light evenly once a bulb is fitted.

- Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable, so the drop height can be adjusted to suit the room.
- Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.

Where It Works Best
The Bluff grey finish suits a kitchen or dining room that's already working with soft, neutral tones, and it's easy to hang two or three together above an island or a run of worktop. Because the drop height can be adjusted, a single pendant also works well over a hallway or lowered to one side of a living room for reading light.
From The Anvil
From The Anvil started in 1996, when former metalwork teacher Mark Underhill bought a small ironmongery supplier and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products and has since grown into a family run manufacturer based in Llandrindod Wells, Powys, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. This Brindley pendant is spun from that same copper stock and finished by hand at the Welsh workshop before its Bluff grey coat is applied.
