Because the colour comes from a coating rather than a natural patina, it keeps a consistent, even tone instead of ageing or marking the way the brand's uncoated finishes do, and its smooth surface picks up a soft sheen wherever the light catches it.

How It Works

• Measures 260mm in diameter and 270mm in height, with a 120mm diameter ceiling rose.
• Supplied fully wired with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings needed to hang it.
• Comes with 1.5m of black fabric cable, so the drop height can be adjusted to suit the room.
• Dimmable when fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, with lighting produced at the same Welsh workshop. This Birch finished Brindley is spun and coated at that same workshop, giving the familiar hand shaped form a smooth, contemporary finish rather than leaving the copper bare.
