Smooth Nickel Finish In Tump

The shade is solid brass, hand finished in Tump on the outside, a pale, hillside green with a soft matte texture. Inside, the shade is lined in polished nickel, which throws light back down and out in an even spread rather than losing it into a coloured interior. The fitting and cord grip are left in a dark, aged tone that stands out against the pale shade and the black fabric cable.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working with his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering. Lighting became part of the range later, produced at the same Welsh workshop.

The Hockley pendant is made at that same workshop, its solid brass shade hand finished in Tump and polished nickel before it ever reaches your ceiling.
