A Bold Cone Shade With Character

The Hockley pendant takes its shape from old factory lighting, a broad, angular cone that throws light out and down in one clean sweep. It suits a single drop over a table or island just as well as it suits being clustered in twos or threes for a bigger visual statement.

Teasel Off White and Smooth Nickel

This Hockley is made from solid brass and finished in a smooth, polished nickel, with the outer face of the shade painted in Teasel, a warm off white with a soft cream undertone. The nickel carries through to the inside of the shade, so it stays bright and reflective there even where the outer surface is matte. The lamp holder and cable grip are left in a darker, aged tone that sits quietly against the pale shade.

Where It Works Best

The scale of the shade makes it a strong single fitting over a kitchen island, a dining table or in an entrance hall, and its warm, pale colouring means it sits comfortably in a living room too. Group two or three together over a run of worktop or a long table for a more layered look.

From The Anvil

From The Anvil was founded in 1996 when Mark Underhill, a former metalwork teacher and joiner, bought a small ironmongery supplier called MF Supplies and began hand forging his own range of hardware from a workshop in Mid Wales, working alongside his wife Bernadette. The From The Anvil brand launched in 2000 with around fifty handmade products. The business relocated to Llandrindod Wells, Powys, and grew into a family run manufacturer of ironmongery, lighting and homeware, still hand forging steel and hot forging brass and copper using traditional methods alongside modern engineering, with lighting like this Hockley pendant produced at the same Welsh workshop.

What bulb does this pendant need?
It takes one LED only E27 bulb rated at 6W maximum. The bulb is not included, so you will need to buy one separately.

Can I dim this light?
Yes. The Hockley pendant is dimmable as long as it is fitted with a compatible dimmable LED bulb.

How much cable comes with it?
It is supplied with 1.5m of black fabric cable as standard, along with a matching ceiling rose and all the fixings you need.

Is this pendant made to order, and can I return it?
Yes. Every Hockley pendant is handmade to order at From The Anvil's Welsh workshop, which means it cannot be returned once your order has been placed.
